Whispers of Frost
In winter's hush, the branches bare,
A tapestry of silence, woven with care.
The whispers of frost, like secrets told,
Wrap the world in a blanket of silver and gold.
Each twig a poem, etched by the cold,
In a language of nature, timeless and bold.
The breath of the season dances like dreams,
In the stillness, life shimmers, or so it seems.
Beneath the pale sky, the earth holds its breath,
In the cradle of winter, we find beauty in death.
For spring will return, with a vibrant refrain,
Yet now we embrace the frost’s gentle pain.
Glistening Chimes
Beneath the pale and waning light,
Icicles hang with all their might,
Crystal daggers, sharp and bright,
Glisten softly in winter's white.
They dance on eaves in silent glee,
Whispers of frost, a symphony,
Each droplet sings a tale untold,
Of winter's breath, both fierce and bold.
In the stillness, shadows creep,
While dreams of spring lie still in sleep,
Yet in this chill, a beauty shines,
In nature's grip, where magic twines.
