Secrets in the Spines
In coral gardens where shadows play,
The urchins dwell, in silence sway.
With spiny embrace, they guard the deep,
Secrets of the ocean, safe they keep.
Beneath the waves, where few dare roam,
They cradle whispers of an ancient home.
The currents weave tales in salt and brine,
Wrapped in their armor, so divine.
A fleeting glance may see them hide,
Yet in their stillness, wonders abide.
The ebb and flow, a rhythmic dance,
In their prickly hearts, lies chance and chance.
For every spine, a story spun,
Of sunlit days and shadows run.
The ocean breathes, a timeless song,
Held close by the urchins, proud and strong.
Dance of the Urchins
In tide pools where secrets tread,
With mottled shells and spines like thread,
Urchins weave their silent art,
A delicate balance, nature's heart.
Cradled 'neath the salt-kissed tide,
They anchor dreams where colors hide,
Emerald and violet, a playful dance,
Fragile beauty in life's fleeting chance.
With ocean's breath, they stand their ground,
In the ebb and flow, life's whispers found,
In nature's hand, a wise embrace,
Urchins craft a world, a tender space.
