Rusty Barriers
In shadows deep, where silence lies, Dreams behind the steel-clad gates, With rusty locks and whispered sighs, They wait in fear, while time abates. Faded hopes, like autumn leaves, Crumble in the clutch of night, Fraying threads the heart retrieves, Yet bars remain, obscuring light. To breach the wall, my spirit strains, But echoes mock each daring thought, For every key, a million pains, In realms of dreams, I feel distraught. Yet still, I seek the hidden seam, Where light might slip and softly gleam, For every lock conceals a dream, And weary souls must dare to dream.
Whispers Beyond the Gate
In shadows cast by ancient signs, A breath of secrets intertwines. Curiosity, a stealthy spark, Draws wanderers to the hidden dark. The velvet whispers call the brave, To peek beyond the caution wave. What treasures lie in twilight's keep? What stories rise from silence deep? Yet caution wraps its tendrils tight, For every thrill invites a bite. But hearts aflame, they break the mold, For daring souls spill dreams untold.
Unchained Verses
In a chest of silence, echoes dwell, Whispers penned in shadows, a muted spell. Locked in the cadence of a heavy door, Words yearn for freedom, to fly and soar. Each stanza a prisoner, the ink restrained, A symphony sleeping, melodies unchained. With keys of rebellion, we'll carve the wood, Unlock the confinement, embrace the good. Let verses break free, let thoughts cascade, In gardens of language, where spirit won't fade. For every word trapped wears armor and seam, But beyond the confines lies the edge of a dream.
