Echoes of Daylight
Lonely shadows stretch and sway, In the soft embrace of light’s ballet. Whispers flicker, a silent call, Yearning for a love that never was at all. Footsteps fade in the bustling street, Where echoing hearts yearn to meet. Yet I wander through time's vast hue, In the warmth of daylight, I never met you. Ghosts of what could have been reside, In the corners where daylight hides. I twirl with shadows, lost in the play, In a dance of longing on this sunlit day.
Parallel Hearts
In shadows cast by paths unseen, We danced along the same moonbeam. Two lives entwined in silent grace, A fleeting glance, a tender trace. Your laughter ripples through my dreams, A whisper soft, like silver streams. Though never met, our souls align, In midnight stories, you are mine. With every breath, I feel the sway Of roads we traveled, night and day. Two hearts that beat yet never greet, In worlds apart, yet bittersweet.
In Another Life
In shadows cast by fate’s design, What dreams may stir if you were mine? A fleeting glance, a whispered tone, In crowded rooms, we walked alone. What tales we’d weave if time aligned, Two wandering souls, by stars entwined. A dance of laughter, spark in our eyes, Yet here we are, just fleeting sighs. What if the world had bent to meet, Our hearts in rhythm, a symphony sweet? In echoes soft, I search for you, A woven fate in threads of blue. With every turn and every chance, In dreams I see our timeless dance. Though paths diverge and roads divide, I hold the wish that you were by my side.
