Whispers Through the Wind
In twilight’s hush, where shadows play,
The voices of ancestors softly sway,
Carried on the breeze, sweet and low,
Stories of ages, where memories flow.
From valleys deep to mountain high,
Their echoes linger, a wistful sigh,
Reminders of paths we’ve yet to roam,
Guiding our hearts to the land called home.
With every gust, a tale comes alive,
In the rustling leaves, the past will thrive,
So listen closely, as whispers entwine,
In another place, in another time.
Echoes of the Past
Waves crash on shores of a lost era,
Whispers of time in the foam they weave,
Each crest a tale, each sigh a mirror,
Of dreams once shared, now hard to believe.
Footprints of laughter, now washed away,
Seagulls call out, a melancholic tune,
The sun dips low, in a golden array,
Painting the sky with a memory's rune.
In salt-kissed air, the echoes remain,
Songs of the heart in the swell and retreat,
Another place, another time's refrain,
Held in the rhythm of the ocean's heartbeat.
Eternal Dusk
In another place, where dreams entwine,
Eternal sunsets paint the sky anew,
With hues of amber, rose, and deep divine,
Each brush of fleeting time a perfect view.
The whispers of the wind caress the night,
As shadows dance upon the velvet sea,
Each moment carved, a memory in flight,
In twilight’s grace, we find our heart's decree.
Stars emerge to knit the heavens bright,
While echoes of the past begin to chime,
In that still hush, we chase the golden light,
In another place, in another time.
