Whispers in the Wood
In the shadows where the tall trees sway,
Eyes glimmer softly at the end of day.
Whispers ride the chill of the night air,
Promises of secrets that wander with care.
Branches creak like old bones in fright,
Wrapped in the cloak of the gathering night.
A gaze follows closely, it draws ever near,
Silhouettes dance as the forest draws near.
What lurks among roots and in dark shadowed nooks?
A chill in the spine as the quiet one looks.
With every rustle, with every breeze,
An echo of dread, as the soul's at ease.
In the heart of the woods, where the lost trails sleep,
Eyes watch from the darkness, where shadows creep.
Listen closely to nature’s fearsome calls,
For the night, dear wanderer, may swallow us all.
Moonlit Shadows
In the silver glow of the night,
Where silence folds and whispers fright,
Shadows dance with a ghostly sway,
Beneath the moon’s haunting ballet.
Figures twist in the pale moonlight,
Phantoms weave through the grasp of night,
Each corner hides a sinister grin,
As nightmares beckon, the thrill begins.
Leaves rustle softly, a chill in the air,
A distant howl, a glimpse of despair,
Yet amidst the terror, so strangely profound,
In shadows we find the magic unbound.
